Sewing, Sewing, Just Keep Sewing

I have been a busy bee on the sewing machine and with the glue gun! When someone knows you sew, watch out they will put you to work.
Like I need an excuse to be on the sewing machine. hehehe

I am getting ideas and requests for things a lot these days. I just have to say I love it when someone says, "Do you make _____?" or "Have you seen _____? Do you think you could make me one?" I am up for a challenge and I am always up for learning how to make something new to me.

Well there's a little peek at what I've been up to. I finally decided on a server/host for my online shop, so you'll be seeing more products soon. It might be a couple of weeks since I have to change classrooms for next year and get the boys finished up with their school year. I will keep you posted!

nine

Today my baby, that's right, my baby is nine years old. I cannot believe it. Nine years have gone by so very fast.

My spiky hair boy, my mini me. N is so full of life. He is a thinker and so sensitive. He cautiously weighs all his options and decides what he is going to do. He is exact and neat. N loves basketball and most other sports. That is something we share a passion for, we love playing basketball. He has become a great bike rider, even at the cost of some scraped knees and elbows. N is not used to getting hurt, so it really bothers him when it happens.

When he decides he is going to build something he sticks it out until the very last piece is placed. His attention to detail is amazing! N is an arguer. He loves to get his point across, even if it means raising the volume of his voice with his brothers. N loves his stuffed animals and scours sales to find new babies for his collection. He is our future attorney, or architect, or veterinarian.

He is my sidekick. I think N loves yard sales almost as much as I do. He loves a bargain and is learning how to make wise purchases. N likes to drop in when I am working on something and just hang out for a while. He gives side hugs and squeezes and I eat them up!

N is learning to become more independent. He is starting to get more things done for himself. That is such a bittersweet road for me. He continues to grow and learn more every day. I still cave when those big brown eyes bat their lashes at me, but hey, he is my baby even if he is nine years old!

Happy, Happy Birthday My Spiky Haired Boy! I hope you continue to enjoy life and all it has to offer!
