My New Digs

With all of the budget cuts in my school district came some consolidation of classrooms.  I was one of the unlucky ones in that I had to pack up my classroom and move into a new to me room.  I wasn't so sure about this idea at first since I had been in my room for 6 years, but it turned out to really good for a lot of us.  I had a lot of work to do to get the new room straightened out, but it was worth it!  I am really enjoying my new room and my new neighbors!

Here's the place where I spend my days trying to fill little minds with all things second grade!














This new space is growing on me...

    Wow! Your classroom looks soo nice & inviting! Your students are very blessed to be in such a motivating room surrounded by a lot of inspiration! I would LOVE to have one of my boys in your classroom :)

    Thank you so much! I want my classroom to be a comfortable and calm place. I try really hard every year to keep it that way!

    So cheery!! My mom is a teacher and I know first hand (from many a summers that she "hired" us to help) how much work goes into making a room that fabulous. What lucky students you have!
