Menu Plan for the Week

Our first full week back to school! UGH! Where did the summer go?!? This season is exactly why I am such a firm believer in menu planning. It takes so much stress away if we have our meals planned out AHEAD of time instead of being worn out and trying to figure out what to make any given night. I also love that my boys all know where the menu is posted in the kitchen and refer to it often!


I keep the monthly menu taped to one of the kitchen cabinet doors along with a great quote I found about dinner time!


Anyway
... here's what we have planned for this week.

Breakfasts- oatmeal, cereal, french toast (freezer stash- and I mean a STASH!), pancakes (freezer stash)

Lunches- ham sandwiches, PB & J sandwiches, fruit, carrots with ranch, celery with peanut butter, leftovers

Dinners-

Sunday- Breakfast for dinner- K's omelets and french toast (I made a GIGANTIC batch for the freezer)

Monday-Nacho Night with Dad (I have meet the teacher night at school)

Tuesday- Pork Chops, red potatoes, asparagus

Wednesday- Corn Dogs, Fries, Raw veggies and fruit

Thursday- Pasta with red sauce, Italian Sausage, french bread, Salad

Friday- Homemade Pizza Night

Saturday- Chicken Kiev, Squash, Noodles

  1. I just love that there is a nacho night with Dad! I am going back to work soon (after a 4 year hiatus) so this may just be making my menu plan soon.

    Also, I never cared to do it before, but I adore the idea of a monthly menu plan! It would really help me out to plan ahead.
