Definitely a Finer Thing

I received an email today with a video attachment from my mom. A fallen soldier was being taken home to rest. All I can say about his journey home is WOW! I am so proud to live in a country where so many people would take the time to give this hero such an out pouring of honor and respect. You'll have to watch to know what I mean. Grab a tissue, K and I were both teary eyed as it played.

A Heroes Salute

Everyday I am so thankful for the men and women that serve in our military. My friends and family members that serve are are my mind often. So to all of you who know, live with, or love a solider, sailor, airman, or Marine I am so grateful and proud of their service. I never knew my maternal grandfather because he gave his life to save others on a tour in Vietnam, but respect and adoration will always be in my heart for my Grandpa Don. What better definition of a finer thing than honoring someone who made the ultimate sacrifice...
